Lucky
I'm lucky because:
- My sister made our mom's lasagna for family dinner tonight, and my family came together to break bread. I enjoyed a delightful time in spite of the fact that my 22-month-old nephew threw up all over me and his mama's new carpet! Yucky pukies...to quote him right after.
- My amazing friends are more thoughtful than I could ever dream of being and thus inspire me to be better.
- I have this entire week off work to rest, rejuvenate, and replenish my resolve to tackle all the items on my to-do list.
- I can order books from Amazon whenever I want and they appear on my doorstep within days. That is ridiculous!
- Morgan is currently putting dishes away and getting coffee ready for the morning. I count my blessings every day that I have such a committed and loving partner.
- I have a home, my health, and Netflix.
- The grass is finally turning green, which means winter is almost over!
This is a great idea for a post. I totally agree--It's crazy that books I order from Amazon appear on my doorstep within a couple days. Put that with a cup of coffee brought to you by someone you love and you know you are blessed!
ReplyDeleteYour post made me smile. I'm grateful for some of the same things: Amazon, a week off, green. But the part that really spoke to me was, "My amazing friends are more thoughtful than I could ever dream of being and thus inspire me to be better." We are truly blessed.
ReplyDeleteLove the list posts I have been seeing, and this is a great one! Amazon and all its miraculousness would be high on my list as well (my son calls the UPS truck the "Amazon truck"). I still have to make it through this week to get my week off, but the grass is turning green! Spring is on the way!
