A Spring Haiku

Fat flakes fall gently
Melting upon the green grass
Spring dons a white cloak

In honor of a snow filled Sunday in March.

  1. I really enjoyed your slice. Each word carefully crafted to maximize effect. We, too, have a snowy Sunday...ugh...spring seems like a lifetime away!

  2. Loved your haiku, how the title suggests one thing, but your words describe another. March can always be a teaser.

  3. I really liked your haiku! Especially the "fat flakes" and "white cloak." I have a very strong image of the white snow on the green grass.
